This is to wish our Muslim fellows a happy celebration and also, to remind them that Eid Fitr is not the period for indulging in activities prohibited by Allah.
Every Muslim should be ready to face the years that lie ahead universal goodwill, discipline and self-control.
It is therefore, important as a nation, for all to live by the virtue that Eid Fitr has brought by respecting and protecting human live and dignity, by being our brothers' keeper, by upholding tolerance, forthrightness and the fear of God so that our nation would be a true united, peaceful and vibrant nation.
