Highly Anticipated: The new iPhone
is expected to launch next month
|
Website TMZ has claimed the phone was smuggled out of a Foxconn factory in
China, where the majority of iPhone models are manufactured.
From the pictures the phone appears to keep the same 'long form' of the
iPhone 5, with seemingly enough room for four apps across and seven apps down.
TMZ says the owner of the phone says
the smuggler is his friend - an ex-employee - who worked in Foxconn's
hardware department designing the outer casing for the new
model.
Earlier this month we reported Apple's new iPhone had reportedly
entered the 'final stages' of quality control, before it begins full scale mass
production.
Apple are expected to unveil the iPhone 6 at a media
event on September 9th, with a release date in either late September or
early October.
