President
Muhammadu Buhari has reassured Nigerians on the international community that he
would name his cabinet before the end of this month.
He gave
the assurance at a joint media briefing with President John Dramani Mahama of Ghana today. He also told reporters
that the Nigeria military in collaboration with the Multinational joint Task
Force had recorded remarkable progress in the fight against Boko Haram since he
assumed office.
He said Internally
Displaced Persons were gradually moving back home and were being reintegrated
into their respective community.
On the
declaration of assets, the president affirmed that it was a constitutional requirement
that all public office holders in Nigeria should declare their assets before
and after their term in office.
Earlier,
President Mahama said both leaders had faithful discussions on how to enhance bilateral
relations and improve regional security. He thanked President Buhari for his
visit and ensured him of Ghana ‘s support and cooperation in the fight against Terrorism
