The tragic reality of Kenya's building collapse

At least 23 people have been confirmed dead after the six-storey residential block crumbled on April 29th.
The building was home to 150 families crammed into single rooms.

Dodgy dealings and corruption have led to the construction of ticking time bombs in almost all capital cities.
Most recently at least 23 people have been confirmed dead after a six-storey residential block in Nairobi's Huruma district crumbled April 29th. 
Kenyans are calling for action to be taken against the contractors, particularly because the Architectural Society of Kenya estimates that half the buildings in the country do not meet rules for building safety!
